Day 2: Adri Arnaus leads over Garrick Higgo by one

Adri Arnaus continued his brilliant run of scoring at Golf Costa Adeje with a second consecutive 64 to take the halfway lead at the 2021 Canary Islands Championship.
The Spaniard went 66-66 over the weekend at last week's Tenerife Open on the same layout and had spoken of how comfortable he felt on the largest of the Canary Islands.

Garrick Higgo is certainly hitting his stride on the Canary Islands.
The former UNLV star is just two weeks removed from his most recent victory and he’s circling the waters again at the halfway point of this week’s European Tour stop.
Higgo finished 5 under in his final six holes, using an eagle on the 18th to finish Friday’s second round of the Canary Islands Championship with a 63. He’s currently just a single shot behind leader Adri Arnaus... Read more

Australia's challenge, amid a host of low scores, was enhanced by veteran Scott Hend, who shot a five-under 66 to follow up his opening round of 67. At nine-under, he was five shots off the pace at halfway in joint-14th place.
His compatriot Maverick Antcliff had a good day too, firing a seven-under 64 featuring seven birdies and not one dropped shot as he moved to eight-under for the tournament. Read more
