Abbey Hill Golf Club

The Abbey Hill golf centre holds an absolutely cracking 18-hole golf course and a par-3 short course perfect to sharpen skills. Abbey Hill is a mature, challenging test of golf, which appeals to both the novice player and to the competitive low handicap player. Abby Hill requires tactical play due to the cunning placement of hazards.

Now part of the 10 English courses owned BGL group, vast sums of money has been invested in the course and the centres facilities since it was purchased from the local council. The Pro Shop and clubhouse were refurbished and a driving range has been added.

A well-maintained course, it remains in good condition for most of the year. The rolling terrain, combined with the lush trees, provides some wonderful views. Signature hole is the par-3 17th that requires a shot over water.
