Abbeydale Golf Club

Since being formed in the mid-1890s, everyone associated with the Abbeydale can rightly feel proud of the outstanding club that exists today. Generations of Abbeydale members have given time and effort into making the club what it is.

Set in 111 acres of the beautiful Beauchief Estate, it provides an absorbing challenge for golfers of all handicaps and retains some of the best views of the Derbyshire country side to be seen anywhere from Sheffield.

One of the district's finest, the course was designed by famous architect Herbert Fowler, also renowned for other such designs as Walton Heath and The Berkshire. Fowler's courses adhere to his design philosophy of strategy and reward.

The last few years have seen investment in the clubs facilities offering excellent and welcoming facilities.The lounge offers relaxed views of the course and a delightful restaurant has some of the best cuisine in Sheffield.
