Aigas Golf Course

Aigas golf course was established in 1993 as a farm diversification project and has been operated by the Masheter family as a commercial ‘pay as you play’ course since then.

It was thought that the idea of building our own golf course would compliment our already well-established holiday cottage business and make use of some poor agricultural land overlooking the farm. Our friend and golf course designer, Bill Mitchell PGA of Grantown on Spey, had other ideas, however, and quickly dismissed the idea of constructing a course on steep terrain and opted for the more naturally undulating land on the valley floor which has been perfect for the par 33 parkland course.
