Ampleforth College Golf Club

Ampleforth College Golf Club’s nine holer is set in the listed historic park surrounding Gilling Castle-superb setting over an undulating terrain with excellent views over the moors and woodland.

The golf course drains well and is never closed for weather conditions (barring snow!). If you play the nine holes twice it measures 5,600 yards, SSS.

The golf course is in the village of Gilling East on the B1363 from York to Helmsley, approximately 18 miles north of York. Full bar and catering facilities are available at the Fairfax Arms 300 yards from the golf course.
