Functions
Founded in 1912, Aquarius Golf Club is one of the older golf clubs in the area and is also one of the best, having been given a new lease of life in recent years by a greenkeeper who is said to be 'working wonders' on the course. The Aquarius course is laid out on two levels around and over a covered reservoir.
First and eighth holes are incredibly hard to make par and boast hazards such as vents and bollards. It is a course that's designed for golfers who hit the ball straight as every hole has internal out-of-bounds on both sides of the fairway.
Greens are reasonably small which makes target golf fairly hard. From the all round the course central London is visible.
Visitors welcome with members as the course is on land owned by Thames Water.
Handicap certificate required.
