Army Golf Club

Army Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in the country and, although it's origins lie with the military, it offers a warm welcome to golfers from all walks of life. The club remembers its military heritage with the cap badges of the army regiment's on the bridges that cross the course's ditches.

Course's current layout was established in the 1960s on 160 acres of gently undulating woodland. It's quite low lying and not too hard walking, but beware it is one of the longest in the region and the final four holes will test even the most experienced of golfers.

Provide the extra energy for the back nine there is a halfway house where golfers can pick up refreshments. The 15th has become the courses signature after being remodeled in 2001, a stream cuts in front of a sloping green.
