Billingbear Park Golf Club

While its name suggests it could be an American golf club, Billingbear Park most certainly is not. It is, instead, one of Berkshire's finest golfing venues and one of the hidden gems of southern England.

Originally one of the oldest golf courses in the area, golf has been played here since the late nineteenth century. The land was then farmed during the two World Wars before being rebuilt as a golf course in 1989.

Since then a new nine-hole course has been added, so that there are now two, nine-hole golf courses on this medieval site. Both are open to visitors and many golfers enjoy playing both in one day, creating a varied but fun 18 holes.
