Bird Hills Golf Club

Set in the heart of Berkshire's rolling countryside is Bird Hills Golf Club, a rare treat of a course and certainly one that you will yearn to return to while walking off the 18th green.

Bird Hills features wide open fairways, numerous water hazards and strategically placed bunkers, the latter two perfectly capable of turning the screw on most mild-mannered golfers. The open fairways, however, a rare treat in a golf course these days, allow you to open the shoulders and give it a good whack!

The par five 13th is a great hole where you are required to avoid fairway bunkers left and right before deciding whether to try and reach the green, which has water at the back, in two.
