Golf Monthly's Top 50 Stay and Play Resorts Award winner, Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort lies in the western corner of 'Capability' Brown's 2,000 acre Great Park and became the official PGA Golf Course and PGA Golf Academy for the South West of England in 2019. In accordance with his brief, Dave Thomas designed a course which can be enjoyed by all levels of golfer, from the occasional player to the experienced professional. The course extends over 200 acres of parkland giving a genuine feeling of getting away from the stresses and strains of modern life.
