Burnley Golf Club

Burnley Golf Club probably ranks among the top five favourite courses of most golfers connected to the East Lancashire Golf Association.

Fair but challenging, the Glen View course (as BGC is known locally) stands on the fringe of the Habergham Eaves moors which overlook Burnley from the road towards Rawtenstall. It is a golf course which makes excellent use of the rolling countryside and offers a true test to golfers of every standard. There are four par threes and one par five for a total of 69, but when the wind blows several of the par four holes play more like par fives.
