Castletown Golf Club

Redesigned in its present condition in the late 1920s by Mackenzie Ross, one of the chief architects of Turnberry, Castletown golf course is rich in tradition and spectacular in the challenge it poses.

The reasons for it hosting many Championship events, including, perhaps most notably, the PGA Cup matches against the USA in 1979, are considerable. The wonderful views created by its position on the seafront, as well as its heather-lined fairways and deceptively quick greens, make this links course one of the most popular in the country, regularly attracting visitors from near and far.

Widely regarded as one of the best golf courses in the United Kingdom, it is an ideal challenge for both beginners and improvers alike.
