Crompton & Royton Golf Club

The Crompton and Royton Golf Club was founded in 1908 and was surrounded by factories in its early days and their role in the Industrial Revolution was marked during the club’s centenary in 2008 with each hole named after a local mill.
Crompton and Royton started off as a moorland course but has undergone vast changes and is now established as a parkland course with more than 2,000 trees and a back nine that will challenge any golfer.

The lush undulating fairways and manicured greens are a true test for golfers of all ages and abilities, it is considered a fine but fair examination of golf.

You are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome at our “members run” club comprising of the normal golfing sections, Mens,Ladies,Juniors and Kidz.

Our Clubhouse has everything you could wish for from the 19th Hole which is an informal venue whilst the comfortable Lounge area is the perfect place to relax after a round. Our renowned catering offers good honest home-cooked fayre whether it be a bar snack, a simple finger buffet or banqueting for up to 120 people.
