One of the courses born during the golf boom that exploded across England in the 1960s and 70s, the course Dyrham Park Golf Club, located not far from the small town of Barnet, first opened its doors to enthusiasts of the sport in 1963. It was laid out to exacting designs by the world renowned golf course architect - and one of the leading pioneers of landscape architecture of his day - C K Cotton.
Spanning some 6428 yards in total from the first tee to the eighteenth pin, it is a considerable length so make sure your energy reserves are fully stocked up before you venture out on this challenging course.
