Robert E Cupp designed the two championship golf courses at East Sussex National Golf Club.
Both courses are stunning examples of what kind of surprise Sussex can offer visiting golfer. For the first time visitors who have never visited East Sussex National - think Augusta National, as many believe this particular club brings a touch of Augusta to the Sussex Downs.
The East Course played host to the European Open in 1993 and 1994 while the West Course Played hosted Challenge Tour Championships 1995-1998 and the European Tour Qualifying School from 1994-1997.
The 17th hole on the East Course is the signature hole where you must negotiate a menacing creek. One of Sussex's finest golfing hotspots - a true gem.
