Functions
Ellesmere is a wonderful parkland course with many natural hazards that will keep you on your toes throughout your round.
Holes that tend to stick in the memory include the third, a par five, the ninth, a par three and the 15th. The latter is a glorious par five where positioning off the tee is important if you want to give yourself a good enough chance of hitting the green in two, setting up a not-so-often birdie opportunity.
This course can be a pretty tough walk at times and, if you're not playing to your usual good standard, can be quite draining. This game never was meant to be easy, though, was it?
