"The Famous Nine" has been inspired by some of the world's most famous and aspirational golf courses. In a glorious elevated setting overlooking the Atlantic, you will discover a totally unique golfing experience, the only one of its kind to be found anywhere.
This is your chance to 'play' holes that pay homage to such famous holes as The Golden Bell at Augusta, the infamous 17th at St Andrews with its intimidating Road Hole Bunker, the 17th at Sawgrass, the nerve-wracking Postage Stamp from Royal Troon, and many more. Whatever your level of ability, you are guaranteed an exhilarating golf challenge that will live on in the memory.
The Famous Nine was opened in 2017 by Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher OBE, who said: "I enjoyed playing this course very much. For me, the most lifelike was the hole inspired by the Postage Stamp. When I stood on the tee it felt exactly like it! Hats off to the course designer David Cooper for creating a terrific course."
The Famous Nine is the UK's largest course using all- weather greens. It uses the very latest all-weather greens material, ensuring you can enjoy it all year round. It takes around 90 minutes to two hours to play a round.
The Famous Nine Golf Course is at Landal Gwel an Mor Resort, a five star luxury resort which was named Best Holiday Village in the Visit England Awards 2018. The resort offers an indoor swimming pool, 'The Terrace' restaurant and bar and other leisure facilities.
