Functions
Fulford Heath Golf Club is a mature parkland course with two classic par threes as its focal point. One of the par threes, incidentally, requires a 140-yard carry over a lake. The par fives, as you would expect, will test your long iron play and are well protected around the greens by some clever bunkering.
Fulford Heath was designed by James Braid and opened in 1933. The course presents a challenge for all golfers, with the River Cole, three lakes and mature trees featuring throughout the course.
Particular favourites are the 12th hole, where the river presents a constant menace, whilst the elevated green of the par three 16th is reached by playing over a lake.
