Garesfield Golf Club

A demanding par 72, eighteen hole course that uses its undulating, partly wooded, parkland location to its full advantage, Garesfield is heavy on the legs, but worth the exertion as long as you stay focused on the task in hand and shoot accurately and wisely for the most respectable low score. Set amidst the glorious Durham countryside, it is particularly easy on the eye also which adds to its appeal.

Visitors are warmly welcomed to the club and will have to pay £16 for a weekday round or £18 for a day pass. At weekends, a round will set you back by £18, but play is restricted for visitors until after 4.30pm. Full-catering facilities for corporate groups are available on request also.
