Gerrards Cross Golf Club

Gerrards Cross is an enjoyable parkland course that demands great respect. It is the kind of course where good shots are rewarded and bad ones punished.

It is no more than 6,300 yards in length but it has only one par five hole, which should give you an idea of how hard it is. There aren't many 6,300-yard courses that have one solitary par five, so Gerrards cross is particularly unique.

It is a very pretty course, with the beech and oak characteristic of Buckinghamshire featuring on many holes.

The 18th is a memorable finishing hole, demanding a well-placed drive and an awesome second shot which must carry the River Misbourne skirting the green from a downhill lie.
