Grimsby Golf Club

Grimsby Golf Club was established in 1922. It was designed by HS Colt, the man considered to be one of the finest golf course architects who ever lived.

Grimsby is a mature undulating parkland course, which, at 6,057 yards, is not a particularly long course but it still demanding and a good test of golf. The par threes are particularly interesting and very few courses will all par threes as feature holes. The summer greens are fast and not very large, ranging from 21 to 32 yards in depth.

The 13th is a magnificent par three. From an elevated tee, the shot is over a section o the lake to an elevated green some 17-yards away. There is a bunker immediately to the front of the green to catch short tee shots.
