Hartsbourne Country Club

Located in close proximity to Watford town centre, the course at Hartsbourne Golf and Country Club has the distinction of having been designed by not one, but two famous golf course architects, namely Hawtree and Taylor. Few other courses in the region, indeed in England, can boast such a claim to fame. Unsurprisingly, given this knowledge, the course is a fine and fair test of golf to all players, high and low handicapper alike.

If you are not feeling up to a full round, however, there is a quaint little nine-hole course with challenges of its own for you to take on.

The greenkeeping staff deserve special mention for the excellent condition in which both courses are maintained.
