Functions
Haydock Park Golf Club is a name that will ring a few bells with golfers who also fancy a flutter on a Saturday afternoon as well as a round of golf.
The Haydock park course, which is situated next to the racecourse, is a fine parkland course that was formed in 1877. Although not overly long compared to some of today's more modern championship layouts, Haydock Park is a very testing tract with several traps to catch the wayward shot.
The fairways are rolling and allow for the more adventurous golfer to try and shape a few shots into the greens. The middle section of the course is the toughest - get through that unscathed and you've done very well indeed.
