Headingley Golf Club

This is an attractive, well-presented and very well maintained heathland course in the north Leeds area. It is not measure up when compared to some of its more illustrious near neighbours, but, in truth, it's not too far behind.

The course, which is split by a busy main road, comprises a number of good holes, the best of which are the opening and closing stretch on the clubhouse side.

It is an undulating course with a wealth of natural features offering fine views from higher grounds. Perhaps the most striking hazard on the layout is the ravine at the 18th.

Take note, Headingley is no easy walk and there are more than a few hills to climb and at times you'll feel as though it's the survival of the fittest!
