This attractive part wooded parkland/downland course, located three miles South West of Cottingham, is perfect for those who have just taken up the game.

At the same time, it's also a place where better players can go for a game if they need to regain their confidence or improve a certain aspect of their game.

Plenty of holes require course management, so it's not a place where you simply stand up and give it a right good whack - you need to think your way round here if you want to succeed. Hessle can be quite tricky in windy conditions, especially off some of the tees. It remains, however, an easy walking layout and a good test to players of all standards.
