Heswall Golf Club
Established in 1902 as a nine-hole course, Heswall Golf Club developed quickly and in only its second year as a golf club became an eighteen-hole, followed by the completion of the construction of its first ever clubhouse a further year on in 1904. It is set upon gently undulating land and offers fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, which incorporates the Dee Estuary, Welsh Hills and much more besides.
There are many difficult hazards to negotiate on the course - both natural and man-made - which need careful consideration if you are to score well. Wildlife enthusiasts will also enjoy the presence of wild birds which flock over the course regularly given its proximity to water.
