In the late 1980s and all through the 1990s, the United Kingdom enjoyed something of a golfing boom. Golf courses, it seemed, were opening up and down the country as numbers of would be golfers rocketed.
One course to take advantage of this was Horsham Golf Club, a quaint West Sussex golfing hideout situated between the town of Horsham and Southwater.
Horsham, which opened its doors in 1993, is a short but challenging parkland course with several water features to catch out the unwitting golfer. It is ideal for players new to the game and those who are slightly more skilled.
The course comprises a selection of tricky par threes and greens that are well protected by various different hazards.
