Functions
You know you are in for a challenging round of golf when you learn that there is a river that meanders through the course in many places, and that is exactly the case at the parkland design which finds its home at Ilford Golf Club. The river, complemented by an array of other hazards including well positioned bunkers and undulating, narrow fairways, make this course a fair test of ability for players of all levels and handicaps.
Measuring 5299 yards, it is admittedly not the longest course in the country, but don't let that put you off taking it on. Indeed, if you want an indication of the challenges you can enjoy, consider the par of 67 - quite high for such a short course.
