John White Golf Club is a friendly little pay-and-play facility in the homely town of Rushden, Northamptonshire.
The club was, incidentally, one of the first golf clubs in the United Kingdom to receive a lottery grant from the National Lottery Fund to purchase the land required to create the challenging course that is open to visitors today.
The club members then helped to raise another £20,000 to add to the redevelopment of the complex.
The parkland course, with a yardage of just under 1,500-yards and a par of 27, may not be the most challenging or renowned test of golf you're ever likely to come across - but you can't argue with the price.
