Lancaster Golf Club

Designed by esteemed golf course architect James Braid, Lancaster Golf Club opened its doors to the public in 1933 and has grown since then into one of the most popular courses in Lancashire. It is laid out on fine, well maintained, well sculpted parkland and is, for the most part at least, not too heavy on the legs being mainly flat. Visitors here will need a handicap certificate and it is certainly a course that is well worth playing.

There are many natural obstacles for you to take on, some of the holes being made trickier by the strong winds that blow in off the Irish Sea, and as you get nearer the clubhouse, the course meanders through woodland giving a few tough holes.
