Langley Park Golf Club

Langley Park Golf Club was founded as a flat parkland course and was designed by JH Taylor, one of the emergent golf course architects at the time (he already had five Open Championship victories).

As the name implies, the course is built on a parkland site, formally part of the Goodhart Family Estate.

To day the course retains its original rolling terrain, but is now well wooded and considering its proximity to the centre of London, it is a haven of peace and solitude. The soil lends itself to verdant growth which is evident from the lush fairways and the surrounding greenery, although most fairways are bordered by woodland, they are wide with forgiving rough and friendly bunkers.
