Functions
The delightful nine-hole layout at Leeds Castle was built on the 500-acre estate in 1924 for the Hon. Lady Baillie, the then owner of Leeds Castle.
A friendly, public pay and play course, it is an absolute joy to play as, not only is it a challenging little layout, it also enjoys one of the most preferential settings imaginable for a golf course.
Former European Tour professional Neil Coles made a few revisions to the course layout in the late 1980s and, nine years later, a brand new 143-yard, par-3 hole, which has its tee nestling beside the Leeds Castle moat with its abundance of waterfowl, was added.
It is, truly, a cracking golf course and one which you'll want to play over and over again.
