The award winning Manor Golf club is a par 71, 6215 yard long golf course set in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside, with picturesque views and an abundance of wildlife. The course has been laid out and is presented as a traditional English Golf course. The Manor provides a challenge for both low and high handicaps with numerous short, hazard ridden challenging par 4’s interspersed with long par 4’s and 5’s and testing par3’s where club selection is vital. The River Blythe running through the centre of the course provides many holes with a natural hazard whilst also maintaining the habitat for the wildlife.
The clubhouse is set at the highest point of the course with views extending over the whole course and far beyond including the Welsh mountains. Bar and catering facilities in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere are enjoyed by all, they stock the fastest growing premium cask ale in the U.K. Pedigree, their newly appointed chef Dale Wright is also an award winner with titles of “Global Gourmet Award” and winner of “The Margarita Cup”. In fact, the Manor members take great pride in the overall friendliness and value for money that you get at the Manor.
The Manor is quite often quoted as “Staffordshire’s best kept secret” in many golf magazines. In November’s edition of the National Club Golfer we were quoted as one of 2 ‘must play courses’ in England – the other was Woodhall Spa, in Lincolnshire.
