Mossock Hall Golf Club

Just two miles drive from the M58 lies Mossock Hall Golf Club, home to a course that covers 130 acres of beautiful Lancashire countryside. Only opened in 1997, the course has matured greatly over the years and has obviously been afforded a lot of care and attention from the greenkeeping staff.

It is a reasonably short course, measuring only 6177 yards from the yellows from the first tee to the eighteenth pin, but underestimate it at your peril - hazards are scattered all over with well guarded greens, stream and ponds lurking to punish any stray shot. On the whole, it is a fairly easy-walking course, but the fairways are undulating and make you think from the tee.
