Mount Pleasant has certainly belied its name over the years as many golfers who have left there with poor looking scorecards will no doubt testify. Since it first opened in 1992, based upon designs by Englishman Derek Young, it has built up a formidable reputation amongst golf fans for the excellent challenge it poses to players of all levels of ability. It is laid out on undulating meadowland with some fairly tight fairways so accuracy is at an absolute premium here. Take it from us - you won't want to hit any of shots astray on this nine-hole, eighteen-tee course.
