Oakmere Golf Club

Conveniently located between Mansfield and Nottingham, it’s rated locally as one of the best golf courses in Nottinghamshire and was originally designed by internationally renowned Golf Course Architect Frank Pennink (Vilamoura Old, Pinhal Portugal, Saunton Sands) in 1972.

Recently both Oakmere courses have had a major overhaul and upgrade by Mackenzie & Ebert (Trump Turnberry, Royal Port Rush, Royal Troon). The Commanders course’s new shorter layout of 5433 yards was completed 2017 and the flagship Admirals course has completed 14 of the 18 holes in the signature Mackenzie Heathland style.

Both heathland courses benefit from free draining and are locally known as the ’all weather courses’.  We welcome and cater for golfers of all levels, from the beginner and occasional putter to some of the best players in the region.
