Patshull Park Hotel Golf & Country Club

Patshull Park Hotel Golf & Country Club is not a classic by any means though, to be fair, it’s not too far off the mark. Golfing legend John Jacobs has created a mini-parkland masterpiece within a tranquil 280-acre estate setting designed by Capability Brown in the 18th century.

The centre of Wolverhampton is a short drive away but the beauty of peaceful Patshull is that it seems a million miles away from the madding crowds. It’s not long but it’s relatively tight, specially on the heavily tree-lined holes around the turn. The long par 4 12th hole lives up to its stroke index 1 billing and overall it’s no wonder that Patshull is one of the most popular venues in the region. Golf World Best 1000 Courses in Britain & Ireland 2004.

Patshull Park Hotel Golf & Country Club’s golf course is a mature scenic golf course designed by John Jacobs that meanders through spectacular Capability Brown parkland and lakes. There’s an on-site hotel with a health and fitness club, restaurant, brasserie and bar. Golfing breaks are available all year.
