Porthpean Golf Club

St. Austell Bay is a truly picturesque town in a beautiful setting on the Cornish coast. Tourists flock there every summer to enjoy fine weather, stunning scenery and the laid-back way of living, and the golfers amongst them have been known to pack their clubs and head for the many courses near the little town.

One of them in particular, the Porthpean Golf Club, regularly attracts players back. It may not be the longest course in the region - measuring only 5209 yards over eighteen unique and distinct holes - but by goodness it is one of the most challenging. The fairways are undulating and the greens are well protected from all sides by well placed bunkers.
