Pytchley Golf Lodge

The public pay and play course at the Pytchley Golf Lodge in Northamptonshire opened in 2000 and really is a fabulous course that will challenge players of all levels of ability whether high or low handicappers. It comprises one par 5, five par 4s and three par 3s, and has plenty of hazards littered all over the course to challenge you whether you are new to the game or not. Water comes into play on several holes and has plenty of tight fairways and well guarded greens to take on and compete against.

Municipal courses are often given a bad reputation but the one here really is a fine test of golf, and to disregard it because it's a 'muni' would be to miss out.
