Redditch Golf Club

Redditch Golf Club is home to a parkland course that uses natural hazards to maximum benefit. It is a well-wooded course protected by numerous ditches and large ponds.

The greens are particularly impressive and were re-laid during 1995 and 1996 under the direction of the Sports Turf Research Institute. It is a favourite of European Tour player John Bickerton. He said: "Redditch is, without doubt, one of the finest golf courses in the Midlands, with testing, long tree-lined holes taking a very accurate game to come out unscathed. "If you succeed in doing this you will have a great score as the greens now match the standard we see on tour week in week out."
