Functions
Located just three miles east of Blackburn town centre, Rishton Golf Club is home to a fine nine-hole course, which can be played as an eighteen hole. Obviously this will satisfy the more discerning golfer a bit better, and they will enjoy trying to match - indeed, better - the par of 70. Laid out on some fine meadowland turf, it is a tricky course that will ask you to display ever shot in your bag and demonstrate good course management.
Some of the fairways are severely undulating and so require a little bit of extra thought off the tee, whilst the greens are tight, pacy and well guarded by some tricky bunkers. It is a good, fair test, no matter how good you think you are.
