Functions
One of the oldest golf courses in Lancashire can be found at the Rochdale Golf Club, on the outskirts of the busy little town. It was established in 1888 and offers golfers a unique test of golf that will have the more experienced player scratching their head in bewilderment on occasion, without leaving the beginner or higher handicapper fleeing from the course in terror. It is a sound and fair course by any golfer's estimation.
Although it is not particularly long - it measures only 6050 yards from the tee on the first hole to the pin on the eighteenth - the course offers a par of 71 which is a good indication of the challenges you will face. Be prepared for it, and enjoy!
