Functions
Although only short, the moorland course at Ryburn Golf Club is a fine test of character and ability for any golfer. The more discerning player will be disappointed at its length - 4984 yards - but they will be appeased by the challenges that lie in wait.
It is a hilly course that has sat just a mile north of Sowerby Bridge since 1910, and offers nine holes that can be played as an eighteen-hole, for which a par of 66 is offered. Visitors are welcome during the week and by arrangement at weekends for £14 Monday to Friday, and £20 on Saturdays and Sundays. Societies are catered for also, but only by prior arrangement.
