Shooters Hill Golf Club

Situated between Blackheath and Welling, Shooters Hill Golf Club lays claim to a superb golf course that suits players of all pockets and persuasions and has all the trappings associated with a superb layout.

The club was founded in September 1903 by Bill Dickinson and consisted of three holes laid out between existing 12th, 17th and 18th greens. There were only 20 members, on october 4th 1903 Dr Gray Duncanson drove into become its first captain. Other fields were gradually acquired and it became nine holes. In 1908 it became 18-holes - with annual subscriptions being two guineas!

The beautiful parkland course is conveniently situated near the city and is barely 15 minutes from Canary Wharf.
