Silverstone Golf Club

More famous for its race-track, the home of Formula One Grand Prix racing in the United Kingdom, Silverstone is also home to a fine golf club set on the edge of the Northamptonshire woodlands and amidst the north Buckinghamshire countryside, no more than a stone's throw A43.

The new look eighteen-hole par 72 course at the Silverstone Golf Club is a real challenge and is quite long so you will need plenty of rev in your engine to get round it. Don't race your way through it either as it you will need to steer your shots patiently around some of the holes. When your round is done, why not make a pit-stop in the clubhouse where you can refuel and enjoy a refreshing drink.
