Southern Valley Golf Course

Southern Valley is a proprietary owned club, situated in Shorne just south of Gravesend in Kent. The course has been built to the highest standards and designed in the style of a traditional links course.

The club has a commitment to having no temporary tees or greens and enjoys a chalk subsoil giving excellent year round drainage.

Construction of Southern Valley began in January 1998 on 138 acres in Shorne. The site was originally Gravesend Airport, which was actively in use during the World War II and overlooks the Thames Estuary.

The course features large greens and tees and undulating fairways. The tees and greens have been built to the most modern specifications and this ensures no temporary tees at any time of the year.
