Functions
Stourbridge is a parkland course with a number of long par fours and more than its fair share of tricky approach shots to well guarded greens. It is a course that's full of character and seems to present a different challenge every time you play it.
The club was formed in 1892 and originally used a nine-hole course all laid out on the former Pedmore racecourse. The course was subsequently extended to 18 holes and covers 93 acres in total. Incidentally, at one time the club was included in the Guinness Book of Records as being the course with the 'longest yardage over the smallest acreage'.
