Tadmarton Heath Golf Club

Designed by Major CK Hutchison and opened to the public in 1922, Tadmarton Heath is a sensational eighteen hole golf course that will cause cold shivers down the spine of the best players whilst still being forgiving enough to send a spark of adrenaline through beginners to the sport.

It is a mixture of heath and sandy land that is quite exposed and so suffers from blustery winds gusting through the fairways and wreaking havoc with even the finest shot, and dragging them off towards danger.

The course has a charming history, set as it is on the site of an old Roman encampment. Indeed the clubhouse is a farm building with a Holy Well from which the greens are watered.
