The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club - Championship Course
Comprising a front nine, set around an impressive lake and waterways complex that not only offers a golfing challenge, but is also home to a considerable amount of wildlife.
The back nine offers a challenge with mature trees strategically placed to make it a true parkland course. Over the last few months we have been working with Kimber Golf, a world renowned Scottish Golf Architect company who have transformed what was an already wonderful golf course into a truly magnificent one. We have made significant changes to 12 of the 18 holes introducing new tees, more strategically placed trees and water features to enhance your golfing experience.
Winter 2017 sees us once again improving the complex for both Members and Visitors by relocating and adding a second putting green to allow more people to practice their putting. We are reducing the 1st hole into a par 4 for men which involves filling in the ditch across the fairway removing some of the hedging on both sides and adding a new fairway bunker at 230 yards. To give the shot back we have decided to make the very tough 4th hole a par 5 played from the existing tee. The Championship Course is now known throughout the Midlands as a true test of golf and one that keeps getting better and better.
