The Players Golf Club

The Players Club in Bristol opened in 2002 and was almost instantly rated as a top match-play venue. Its home to two 18 hole courses and a 9 hole par 3 course as well as first class practice facilities. The Codrington Course is a championship parkland layout that has staged 9 Europro events and a number of regional PGA championships.

The signature hole is the par 3 third hole, nicknamed 'Island'. First you need a long drawn drive over the right hand side of the lake. Your reward for that risk is an easier second shot to the multi-level green.

As you would expect from a championship venue the greens and fairways have been built to the highest USGA standards and are superbly maintained. The clubhouse overlooks the 18th and offers visitors an extensive bar menu and a relaxing environment.
